Raghunath ReddyEssays on AI, cybersecurity and B2B technology

I explore the frontier of LLMs, along with context and harness engineering for agentic AI, and help colleagues use AI effectively at work.

I operate at the crossroads of AI and cybersecurity, with B2B technology as the primary focus. I am a generalist first, and then a specialist.

I’m Raghunath Reddy. I work in cybersecurity at a US health system, and before my current role I spent years in B2B technology marketing, explaining identity and cybersecurity products to developers and the people who buy for them. This site is where I write about AI, cybersecurity and B2B technology.

What I’m working on now

More on my now page
Building
I am working on a trial project for an internal use case at work, designing the harness and context around a model and comparing how different models and sub-agents respond.
Helping
I help colleagues use GitHub Copilot CLI and choose between it and Microsoft 365 Copilot for each job, and I turn tasks that work into skills they can run.
Writing
I am writing the first essays for this site, at least one on each of its four topics.
§ 02

What I write about

Each of the four topics has a page that collects the writing and work filed under it.

  1. AI adoption at work

How do you help colleagues explore where AI becomes the best tool for their work?

Which AI tool fits a piece of work depends on how its harness, environment and context work; when a task works in GitHub Copilot CLI, I turn it into a skill colleagues can run.

  2. How AI systems work

What happens between your prompt and the answer, and how do you keep an agent accountable?

In my own work, I focus on harness engineering and context engineering, and proving what an agent did takes evidence, end-to-end traces and audit logs.

  3. Cybersecurity communication

How do you make cybersecurity understandable to people who do not work in it?

My view, which I have not put into practice in my organization, is that awareness programs should use a careful, thoughtfully designed skills survey and request training completion by role, skill level and necessity.

  4. Marketing technical products

How do you market technical products, such as AI, cybersecurity and developer tools?

When marketing cybersecurity products, we need to understand the pain points very clearly, and the solution we propose should clearly show its technical value.

There was a need for internal newsletters, monthly and half-yearly, one for each department, and I build them with GitHub Copilot CLI and not Microsoft 365 Copilot.

Cybersecurity comic strips for busy caregivers

In early 2025, I made comic strips on cybersecurity topics for busy caregivers, with Microsoft 365 Copilot’s image generation for the panels and Figma for the dialogue.
